Our story begins with a group of people who were united by a passion for food. The core of our company is not just the culinary adventure, but the creation of atmosphere and the building of sustainable agricultural systems.

Chef Jarrod Johnson

Jarrod is a classically trained chef who received his degree in culinary arts from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago.

After receiving his degree he worked for a James Beard award-winning chef, was a Sous chef at a private city club, and ran a restaurant kitchen as an executive chef before joining the Mandrake Restaurant Group. His culinary passion is fresh, local ingredients, wine and cheese tastings, and artisan tasting menus.
