This October marks a momentous occasion for Mandrake, Geneva’s newest culinary gem, as we prepare to officially celebrate our grand opening on October 16th and 17th, 2024. Though it has been one year since we first opened our doors, this year has been a journey of preparation, building relationships, and integrating with the community. Now, we are thrilled to commemorate our grand opening with two days of festivities, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the premiere of our new fall menu.
The celebration will kick off on Wednesday, October 16th, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Mayor of Geneva, Kevin Burns. This momentous occasion will usher in a new era for Mandrake, as we debut our highly anticipated seasonal fall menu. Our new menu is a tribute to the region’s finest ingredients, offering a culinary experience that exemplifies the restaurant’s dedication to excellence.
In the spirit of giving back to the community that has embraced us, all proceeds from our grand opening event will benefit two local charitable organizations. On October 16th, proceeds will support the Rising Lights Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to creating inclusive environments for individuals impacted by disability.
On Thursday, October 17th, we will be raising funds for the Geneva High School Unified Sports Program, which provides opportunities for students with disabilities to participate in athletics and Special Olympics programs.
Mayor Kevin Burns will be present for both days of the event, and we invite the entire Geneva community to join us. Whether you are making a reservation or simply stopping by for a drink, your participation will make a difference in the lives of many. We kindly ask for RSVPs for those planning to attend, as space is limited and proceeds from all food and beverages will go directly to these charitable causes.
